About Us

Dan Stewart graduated from Wake Forest in 1978 after experiencing an unspectacular baseball career and earning a degree in Business Administration.  After toiling for two years as a group insurance representative, Dan figured out that this was a tough way to earn a living and enrolled in the MBA program at the Babcock Graduate School of Business at Wake Forest. Upon graduation in 1982, Dan embarked upon a banking career in Dallas, Texas.  After surviving  the tough times in Texas, Dan landed back in North Carolina, where he freed himself from the Evil Empire of the big bank and became a senior lender at the one of the finest community banks in the country.
